CST Testing Week - May 15th-18th
Next week the Cougars will be taking the California Standards Test (CST). Our school goal for this year's CST is 700!
Next Tuesday through Friday students will be testing and the school day will end at 12:30pm. Parents/Guardians please make sure you student is at school every day next week, is well rested and has a healthy breakfast. Let's ROCK the CST!
Girls Volleyball Teams Play for Championship
Both of John Muir's Volleyball Teams finished a successful season at Trade Tech on Saturday May 5th. The two teams finished 2nd and 3rd in their league and had a great 1st season of Volleyball!
8th Grade Class of 2012 T-shirts
The 8th Grade Class of 2012 T-shirts are now on-sale in the Student Store. You can purchase the Class T-shirt for $13 and you can wear your class T-shirt on Fridays and for all 8th Grade Activities. Pre-sale starts on Wednesday, April 11th, so make sure you purchase your T-shirt so you can be the first to receive your shirt!
Muir Students attend screening of "Bully"
On Tuesday, April 17th, students from John Muir participated in what was described as "the largest youth gathering against bullying in California. Clink on the link to find the LA Times story and see a picture of some of the Muir students at the event.
C5 Students for the Class of 2016 SELECTED!!
The Class of 2016 John Muir students were recently selected for the prestigious C5 Program. This year NINE students from John Muir were selected to participate in the program that will gear them up for college. Click on the link for more information.
